Nearly 700,000 procedures will be performed in the United Kingdom this year, an increase of 40 percent over 2005. The most popular procedures are Botox (Allergan) injections and chemical peels, breast enhancements and facelifts.
A quarter of women and 10 percent of men say they would consider surgery, the paper reports.
