What's the preferred sunscreen and why? Renata Block, MMS, PA-C, talks to the attendees of the 2024 SDPA Annual Summer Dermatology Conference.

Summer is just around the corner, so it is that much more important to talk to patients about sunscreen products. To shine a light on the importance of sunscreen, Dermatology Times editorial board member Renata Block, MMS, PA-C asked attendees of the 2024 Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant Annual Summer Dermatology Conference, "This or That: Chemical or Physical Sunscreen?"


Although there was no true consensus between chemical and physical sunscreen, the PAs queried did agree on one thing: The best sunscreen is the one that the patient will wear.
