However as aging occurs and self-confidence takes a dip, more people are turning to cosmetic surgery to stay competitive with their younger colleagues. According to the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, about two-thirds of its members reported seeing men and women requesting cosmetic procedures for this purpose.
