The German study looked at 1,436 children between the ages of 6 and 17, who had atopic dermatitis, and 1,436 kids without it. The researchers found 5.2 percent of eczema patients had ADHD, compared with 3.4 percent of the eczema-free group, Health Magazine reports.
Study authors say kids with atopic eczema are 54 percent more likely to have ADHD than those without it.
