Imbed Biosciences, Inc., recently announced it has received a Technology Breakthrough designation for its product, PelashieldAM.

This recognition was awarded by Premier, Inc., facilitated by its Kiindo pediatric performance group and collaborative.

Premier, a health care improvement company, awards Breakthrough Technology designations to innovations that demonstrate substantial advantages in patient safety, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiencies.

PelashieldAM, designed primarily for burn wounds, offers a breakthrough solution to address the complexities of pediatric burn care. Manufactured in multiple sizes, the product is tailored to meet the needs of the burn wound market.

The newly established agreement, effective February 1, 2024, allows Premier members to leverage exclusive pricing and terms pre-negotiated by the health care improvement company for PelashieldAM at their discretion. This strategic collaboration aims to enhance accessibility to cutting-edge technologies and foster advancements in pediatric burn care.
