Taipei, Taiwan - Researchers have found that psoriasis patients show high levels of leptin, increasing the chances of other inflammatory diseases associated with this metabolic hormone, Medpage Today reports.

- Researchers have found that psoriasis patients show high levels of leptin, increasing the chances of other inflammatory diseases associated with this metabolic hormone, Medpage Today reports.

The researchers found that female psoriasis patients were at especially high risk of having increased leptin, and patients with with high leptin were more likely to be overweight.
