National report - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Evolence to treat moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, according to maker Johnson and Johnson.

- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Evolence to treat moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, according to maker Johnson and Johnson.

Evolence is made from collagen harvested from the tendons of pigs, and will compete on the market with synthetic dermal fillers, such as Restylane (Medicis) and Juvéderm (Allergan), the Washington Post reports.
